Homeworx Apprentice in 3rd Place

Our 3rd year apprentice, Chris, competed in the Hawke’s Bay finals of the carpentry Apprentice of the Year held at Tumu timbers new Napier premises last weekend. The finalists all had to frame and build a small playhouse each, which will be donated to local kindergartens. The playhouse contains several areas of difficulty including round window openings and rafters for the roof, all to be built in 8 hours or less.
