You have settled on your house plans but the journey to achieving your dream home is not finished. There’s the all-important interior design to think about – which can be stressful for many reasons.
You know you want an interior that reflects your unique style, but are unsure of exactly what your style is.
You find it hard to visualise everything pulled together until you see it.
There are so many options to choose from, you don’t know where to start.
Consultation – she will listen to your ideas and get an understanding of how you live, and what your personal style is.
Give you a fresh perspective - introduce you to what’s new, and gently encourage you to be brave and choose something unique.
Ensure a cohesive look – make sure all elements: flooring, tiles, paint, wallpaper, tapware, kitchen benches, splashbacks, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, complement each other.
Balance functionality, style, and budget – resulting in an interior that will stand the test of time.
Once you’re happy with your home design, Amy starts working with you to help finalise your colour scheme, selection of fixtures and fittings, including your kitchen design, floor coverings, electrical and plumbing fittings.
Your first appointment is a discovery session, where she gets to know you, what you like and don’t like, what ideas you have, and what can be achieved to fit your budget.
We consider what colour tones you prefer and use your answers to help develop an overall colour scheme.
During your second appointment we will confirm your exterior colours. This includes, but is not limited to, roof, joinery, cladding, fascia and guttering, down pipes, and house base.
Amy will talk this through with you and help you make decisions, but it helps if you come prepared with some ideas or examples of what you might like. It is important to ensure that your exterior colours all work together to enhance that all important street appeal.
In your third meeting, we will confirm your interior and kitchen colours. This will include, but is not limited to walls, carpet, ceiling, flooring, curtains/blinds, doors, and kitchen.
It’s good to have a think about what furniture or artwork you have that might influence or compliment your interior colour choices.
